BROKER/OWNER, REALTOR®

Message Cody

Cody founded Scout South Properties in January of 2019, however her love for construction and real estate was ingrained long before this exciting new venture began. Growing up, she tagged along with her Dad, a custom home builder, from projects seated in the mountains of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, to the beaches of the Alabama Gulf Coast, gathering knowledge and experience along the way.

From 2004-2009, Cody attended Auburn University where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a Master’s in Design-Build. After graduation, she moved back to Baldwin County and worked for seven years marketing an industrial corporation. A resident of Baldwin County since 1991, she chose to pursue her passion for helping others through real estate when she first became licensed in 2015.

Whether it’s strapping on her boots and tromping across a 40 acre tract or jumping aboard to see the water view, utilizing her education, expertise and work ethic to assist her clients in taking their next step in life is truly where her heart is and why she started Scout South. Cody is a member of the Board of Directors for the Jennifer Claire Moore Foundation which works to train elementary to high school teachers and students on the mental health concerns facing our youth today.

Message Kelly

Kelly became licensed as a REALTOR® in April 2018. She has been a resident of Baldwin county since 1992. After graduating from The University of South Alabama with a degree in Communication, Kelly worked at the local community college instilling the importance of competent communication into the young people of Baldwin County. She continued her education and completed her Ph.D in 2016.

Although education holds a special spot in her heart, home building has always been a part of who she is. Her father was a custom home builder and it was not uncommon for her to help her dad in a job by cleaning a construction site or laying sod at the end of a job. Kelly first became a REALTOR® to assist her sister, Cody, in her growing real estate business. The opportunity to get back to her roots and get to help her sister was too exciting to resist. In helping her sister, she discovered helping families find houses to call home quickly became a passion of her own.

She believes in the goodness of Baldwin County and that it has something to offer everyone. The county offers a big heart, an exceptional school system, supportive communities, economic growth and unparalleled investment opportunities. She is thrilled to be a part of Scout South family and the opportunity to serve the current and future residents of Baldwin county.
